I AM SORRY

I prayed this morning...

I asked You to keep my family safe throughout the day.

I asked that You bless my work today.

I asked for Your guidance on a lot of complex things.

I prayed for a solution to the global virus Covid-19.

I prayed that our leaders may be filled with Your wisdom

I prayed & then ……

I realize that I did not ask You what You want me to do today.

I was too focused on what I need.

I asked for what the world needs. I am sorry.

I forgot that Jesus said that “..Your Father knows what you need before you ask him” (Matthew 6:8)

This #lent2020, may my prayers be filled more with WHAT YOU WANT rather than WHAT I NEED. I don’t need to worry about what I need because God is my Father. And a good father always provides what his child needs.
